Monday, April 13, Brockbank fifth grade students had the opportunity to meet Spanish Fork Police Department's K-9 dogs, Rooster and his trainer/handler Officer Ben Besendorfer and Officer Justin Miller and his dog, Zero. Students got to see some of the things Rooster and Zero are trained to do in helping in drug detection and apprehension of criminals. Officer Austin Lunt, who teaches NOVA to the fifth-graders, wore a padded suit so students could see some of Zero's training. The students really enjoyed having the officers come to speak to them and see the K-9 dogs.
